No clue what this will turn into.
Maybe i'll write about some DIY audio stuff i've been doing. And the knowledge I gathered doing so.
For example, I have assembled the Pass ACA (Amp Camp Amp) solid state Class A amplifier. I have another kit which I will assemble at some point for a dual monoblock setup. Funny enough, on paper this amp is pretty crap but I love it. The damping factor is extremely low so the bass sounds loose and smooth and creamy, which is how I like it.
I have the amp paired with a set of ELAC Carina BS 243.4 monitor speakers. Ribbon tweeters are just blissful to listen to, great amount of detail without ever getting fatigueing to listen to. The bass port is downfiring which I had never seen before and it makes for an intersting speaker base design. I also feel like the placement of the speaker is really forgiving and you can nicely play with the distance to the wall to change the intensity of the bass at your listening position.
Also i'm a (coffee) snob, but refuse to spend a lot of money on it, so i've been stuck with the same setup for a while now. (Sage Bambino + Sage Smart Grinder Pro, with a few fancy accesories and upgrades.)
